Engaged with the Amazigh community by helping tutor children during the summer break, assist in housework, and farming. I was 16 at the time, and to me it was more of a cultural exchange experience than a volunteer opportunity. I got to interact with North-African Arabic tribes, which shared my native language and much of my culture, but led completely different lives. As a result of this trip, I produced one of my most cherished photographic collections, which documented the whole trip and a time when I discovered my passion for photography.
