Berber, Morocco | 2019
Engaged with the Amazigh community by helping tutor children during the summer break, assist in housework, and farming. I was 16 at the time and to me it was more of a cultural exchange experience than volunteering, I got to interact with north-African Arabic tribes which shared my native language and much of my culture, but carried out completely different lives. As a result of this trip, I produced one of my most cherished photographic collections which documented the whole trip and a time when I discovered my joy for film-photography.
IHYAA School Renovation Initiative
